WHO CAN PLAY AT THE NATIONAL PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIP?

The players can play at the following Categories:

Sub Junior (Under 14 and Under 16)

Junior (Under 19)

Senior (19+, 35+, 40+, 50+, 60+)

GLOBAL PICKLEBALL RANKING (GPR)

The players competing at the National Pickleball Series tournaments accumulate ranking points into their

GPR (Global Pickleball Rankings).

The value of the ranking points is defined by the tournament tier and skill levels.

REGISTRATION FEES

For U-14, U-16 & U-19 Girls and Boys- INR 1100 per person

For 19+ Men's & Women's - INR 1500 per person

For Team event Entry -INR 2000 per team

ONE PLAYER CAN PARTICIPATE IN ANY 2 CATEGORIES.

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and High tea on all 3 days for all participants & official)

GENERAL RULES:

1. The tournament will be played under the " Official Tournament Rulebook" of the

USA Pickleball https://usapickleball.org/docs/ifp/USA-Pickleball-Rulebook.pdf

2. All league matches will be a round robin followed by single

elimination knockout.

3. All league matches will be 1 game to 15 service points, and all knockouts’ matches

will be best 3 games to 11 service points, win by 2.

4. There are limited places available in each category and players

are only able to enter one skill/age category per event.

5. All matches will be refereed.

6. The tournament director reserves the right to combine categories, Division,

Format and schedule of the Tournament.

if there is an insufficient number of entries (less than 8).

7. All State players can register through their respective state secretary and deposit

their fee to MPPA then state secretary will give players list to the tournament

committee with Names, Date of birth, Email Id and Mobile No. with their Payment details.

8. The schedule will be circulated after registration completion.

We have secured the whole tennis court, including features like canteen/cafe,

seating for viewing, changing rooms, with 8 outdoor pickleball courts and

4 indoor courts.

The tournament venue is located in Rau, Indore with an easy 30 minutes’ drive from the airport.
