wir, die Pickleballer des TV Burgholzhausens, freuen uns, Euch

einladen zu können.
Ausgeschrieben ist ein offenes Turnier für Doppel unabhängig vom Geschlecht (co-ed).
Bei gutem Wetter stehen vier Outdoorplätze zur Verfügung, ansonsten spielen wir in der Halle auf drei Plätzen.
Turnierbedingungen
1. Regeln:
Das Turnier wird unter den "Official Tournament Rulebook" der International Federation of Pickleball ausgetragen, eine Zusammenfassung findet man unter

Die Auslegung der Spielregeln liegt in der Verantwortung der spielenden Teams.
Zur Beantwortung von Unklarheiten werden zwei Regelkundige vor Ort zur Verfügung stehen.
2. Spielmodus:
- Vorrunde: Auslosung ohne Einteilung in 4er- Gruppen, jeder gegen jeden
- Hauptrunde: Einteilung in 4er-Gruppen gemäß Ergebnissen der Vorrunde (die Ersten, Zweiten, Dritten und Vierten der Vorrunde), jeder gegen
jeden
- Platzierungsspiele
o gespielt wird jeweils ein Satz
o Sieg bei 11 Punkten mit mind 2 Punkten Vorsprung
o bei Gleichstand 11:11 entscheidet der folgende Punkt

Anmeldung
Gebühr pro Spieler: 29 € (beinhaltet ein Funktionsshirt, 2x 0,5 l Wasser)
Das Anmeldefenster öffnet sich am 01. April und schließt am 05. Juni; es sei denn, dass die maximale Teilnehmerzahl von 48 Spielern früher erreicht wird.
Verpflegung
Für das leibliche Wohl (zum Tagespreis) werden wir sorgen, inkl geselligem Abschluss, weitere Infos im Laufe der Zeit an dieser Stelle.

ACHTUNG: Corona (Stand April 2021)
Aufgrund der aktuellen Umstände rund um Corona gehen wir vom jetzigen Zeitpunkt davon aus, dass wir keine Zuschauer zulassen können.
In Abhängigkeit des zukünftigen Pandemiegeschehens kann es durchaus sein, dass die Behörden uns die Austragung des Turniers verbieten, sodass das Turnier abgesagt werden muss.
Im Falle einer Absage werden wir selbstredend den bereits bezahlten Beitrag erstatten oder, falls bereits produziert, die T-Shirts zusenden und den Restbetrag (jeweils abzgl. der Paypal-Gebühr iHv 1,07€) überweisen; die Übernahme von weiteren Kosten ist ausgeschlossen.
Sobald dazu belastbare Entscheidungen vorliegen, werden wir Euch auf dieser Site informieren. Also bitte immer mal wieder hier vorbeischauen.

Dear Pickleball Community,
The Pickleball division of TV Burgholzhausen invites you to the
1ST Burgholzhausen Open
Which takes place
On June 19th, 2021
At 10am. Registration starts at 9am
At the
Grundschule Burgholzhausen
Peter-Geibel-Straße 15
61381 Friedrichsdorf (Burgholzhausen)
Players will be able to register as a men’s double, women’s double or a mixed doubles team. All teams will play in the same tournament.
We hope to use our 4 outdoor courts for tournament play. 3 indoor courts are available at the same location if there is inclement weather.
Tournament info:
1. Rules: The “Official Tournament Rulebook” of the International Federation of Pickleball will be used to govern tournament play and rules. A summary can be found at:
http://www.usapa.org/rules-summary.
All players must adhere to these rules. Tournament referees will be present to answer any questions or sort out any disputes.
2. Mode of play: a) Seeding round: Teams will be randomly drawn into round-robin groups. b) Main round: Teams will play other teams that placed the same in their respective groups in another round-robin group. c) Final standings matches as needed.
3. per match one set, win at 11 points with at least 2 points ahead, in case of a tie at 11:11 the following point decides
4. Tournament ball: Gamma Photon outdoor (or Gamma indoor, should we have to play indoor)
Registration:
Cost per player: 29€ (includes a t-shirt and two 0,5 l bottles of water)
The registration period lasts from 1st April to 5th June; unless the maximum number of 48 players is reached earlier.
On the day of the tournament please arrive at 9am to pick up your tournament information, t-shirt, provisions and to get settled and warm up.
Provisions:
Players can buy food and beverages at the tournament site. We also invite you to stay for the after-party!

Attention: Corona (April 2021 update)
Due to the current circumstances around Corona, we unfortunately see ourselves forced to register the tournament without spectators.
Unfortunately, the bringing of spectators/accompanying persons is therefore not allowed, we also find it very unfortunate, but above all for us, is of course your health.
We also have to point out that, should the situation regarding Corona change again and new regulations or requirements come into force, the tournament can be cancelled at short notice.
In case of cancellation your registration fee will be refunded or, should the t-shirts be produced already, you will receive the t-shirt and the remaining fee, in both cases less the Paypal-fee of 1.07€. All other expenses are your own responsibility.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
