If the REGISTRATION DEADLINE date is 0000-00-00 and TOURNAMENT STATUS is 'Show Tournament' then the Tournament Status will be COMING SOON.
If the TOURNAMENT STATUS is 'Hide Tournament' then it will show 'REGISTRATION STARTS Month, DD YYYY' i.e. Registration Deadline date.
If TOURNAMENT STATUS is 'Show Tournament' and the 'REGISTRATION DEADLINE' is future date then it will show REGISTRATION OPEN as Tournament Status.
If TOURNAMENT STATUS is 'Show Tournament' and the 'REGISTRATION DEADLINE' is past date then it will show REGISTRATION CLOSED as Tournament Status.

Dear Pickleball Friends, the new schedule for our 2nd Wild Horse Pickleball Tournament is set and registration will be open soon. This year we are able to use the location for two days enabling doubles and mixed divisions on the the 2nd and 3rd of March.

The following divisions are available:

2nd od March 2024:

Men's doubles 3.0 , 3.5, 4.0, 4.5

Women's doubles 3.0, 3.5, 4.5 (please be informed that due to high Dupr ratings of some female players I decided to change from 4.0 to 4.5 skill level to give those players the chance to register).

3rd of March 2024:

Mixed doubles 19+ 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5

Mixed doubles 50+ 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

Unfortunately, due to the available number of 7 courts in the hall, further division into age groups for doubles is not possible. If more players (corresponding to 7 teams) have registered in a division, we will either put them on a waiting list (in order of registration date) or distribute them to other divisions, if this is reasonable and there are still places available.

Should players not be able to participate due to too many registrations, the participation fee will be refunded after the tournament. This way we hopefully can compensate for short term cancellations if necessary.

Please consider the following schedule:

2nd of March 2024: Start registration from 9:00 am. Start time 1st games from 10:00 am.

3rd of March 2024: Start registration from 9:00 am. Start time 1st games from 9:30 am.

Please allow enough time for the tournament. We hope to have completed all games and the subsequent medaille ceremonies by 7:00 pm at the latest. Depending to final no. of divisions we decide to use one or more courts for one division. This causes different break times between the individual games of the teams especially if only one court per each division is available. We hope for your understanding.

We would like to ask everyone to register as early as possible (first come, first served) so that we can communicate the tournament schedule in time.

Draw types:

round robin (1 rotation) Top 4 (semifinals and finals).

Within round robin each game will be until 11, win by one.

Semifinals until 15, win by 1

Finals (depending on available time) until 15, win by 2 or best of 3 (each game until 11, win by 1).

Catering:

As we did last year, we will again be providing coffee and cake for a voluntary donation as well as drinks. Otherwise we ask you to bring your own food for the day.

Dinner 2nd of March 2024:

In the evening we will again have a table reserved at the Italian restaurant (8 pm). Everyone pays there themselves. Registration for this can be done in advance by e-mail (please send me an e-mail from each club), but at the latest at the registration on March 02, 2024 let me know if you would like to participate. We expect about 25 - 30 participants.

der neue Zeitplan für unser 2. Wild Horse Pickleball Tournament steht fest und die Anmeldung wird bald geöffnet sein. In diesem Jahr können wir den Veranstaltungsort für zwei Tage nutzen, so dass am 2. und 3. März Doppel und Mixed gespielt werden können.

Die folgenden Divisionen sind verfügbar:

2. März 2024:

Herrendoppel 3.0 , 3.5, 4.0, 4.5

Damendoppel 3,0, 3,5, 4,0

3. März 2024:

Gemischtes Doppel 19+ 3,0, 3,5, 4,0, 4,5

Gemischtes Doppel 50+ 3,0, 3,5, 4,0

Eine weitere Einteilung in Altersklassen für Doppel ist aufgrund der zur Verfügung stehenden Anzahl von 7 Plätzen in der Halle leider nicht möglich.

Sollten sich in einer Spielklasse mehr Spielerinnen und Spieler (entsprechend 7 Teams) angemeldet haben, werden wir diese entweder auf eine Warteliste setzen (in der Reihenfolge des Anmeldedatums) oder auf andere Spielklassen verteilen, sofern dies sinnvoll ist und noch Plätze frei sind. Sollten Spieler aufgrund zu vieler Anmeldungen nicht teilnehmen können, wird die Teilnahmegebühr nach dem Turnier zurückerstattet. Auf diese Weise können wir hoffentlich auch kurzfristige Absagen kompensieren.

Bitte beachtet den folgenden Zeitplan:

2. März 2024: Beginn der Registrierung ab 9:00 Uhr. Beginn der 1. Spiele ab 10:00 Uhr.

3. März 2024: Beginn der Registrierung ab 9:00 Uhr. Beginn der 1. Spiele ab 9:30 Uhr.

Bitte plant genügend Zeit für das Turnier ein. Wir hoffen, alle Spiele und die anschließende Siegerehrung bis spätestens 19:00 Uhr abgeschlossen zu haben. Je nach endgültiger Anzahl der Divisionen entscheiden wir uns, einen oder mehrere Plätze für eine Division zu nutzen. Dies führt zu unterschiedlichen Pausenzeiten zwischen den einzelnen Spielen der Mannschaften, insbesondere wenn nur ein Platz pro Division zur Verfügung steht. Wir hoffen diesbezüglich auf Euer Verständnis. Wir möchten alle bitten, sich so früh wie möglich anzumelden (wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst), damit wir den Turnierplan rechtzeitig kommunizieren können.

Draw Types:

Wie im letzten Jahr werden wir wieder Kaffee und Kuchen gegen eine freiwillige Spende sowie Getränke zur Verfügung stellen. Ansonsten bitten wir Euch, Eure eigene Verpflegung für den Tag mitzubringen.

Abendessen am 02.03.2024:

Am Abend haben wir wieder einen Tisch beim Italiener reserviert (20:00 Uhr). Jeder zahlt dort selbst. Die Anmeldung hierfür kann vorab per E-Mail erfolgen (bitte möglichst von jedem Verein eine E-Mail an mich senden), spätestens aber bei der Anmeldung am 02. März 2024 lasbitte uns wissen lassen, ob Ihr teilnehmen möchtet. Wir rechnen mit ca. 25 - 30 Teilnehmern.
