Tournament Farewell Dinner
All events will be round robin format followed by single elimination, progressing to finals. Organisers will attempt to give players a minimum of 4 games per event. If there are an insufficient number of entries within a single age/skill category then the organisers reserve the right to combine categories at the Tournament Director's discretion.
Organisers may adjust the number of registrations for brackets with the highest demand.
We want the competition to be be fair to everyone and have structured the competition with age brackets junior, 19+, 50+, 60+ and skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and Open. Other brackets may be added subject to demand
Team Competition Information to follow. Although full teams are from a country or club are most welcome, any interested individuals, please declare your willingness to join the team event and we will endeavour to find you some team mates. This is a great way to meet and play with new friends.
Referees will be used for all medal games
About the Organisers,
Hua Hin Pickleball is a not-for-profit group set up to promote and encourage the development of pickleball in Hua HIn, Prachuabkirikhan,Thailand .
Tournament Directors: Elaine Shallcross & Alison Fulton and Ern Thitiworada
Cost Tournament registration fee is $5 and each individual event is $20,
Junior events are free
If you are a local player from HUA HIN, please contact us to use the local payment option. You will still need to have a Pickleball Global account.
Entry deadline January 30, 2023 (OPEN) Registration closes when the event is full
Cancellation and refund requests must be made by 12:00pm BST on 1st February 2023. Registration fees are non-refundable but event fees will be refunded
Waiver The signing of the online waiver is required
Event changes Tournament organisers/ directors reserve the right to make changes to Shedules and programmed events. Their decision is final and should be respected.

Getting there Hua Hin is accessible by, plane train and road. If you need any help with travel or transport arrangements, please contact the organisers
Airports Bangkok Suvanabhumi BKK is the main international airport, with flights operating from international and domestic destinations
Don Muang Airport DMK remains open for flights from foreign and domestic destinations and is the low cost carriers hub
Hua Hin Airport HHQ is a small regional airport currently only servicing internal flights to Chiang Mai, and Udon Thani, Thailand. Previously operating flights to Kuala Lumpur, which were suspended due to Covid 19 restrictions

Organisers can arrange for a private car or mini bus and driver to collect you from the airports in Bangkok . Prices range from 1,600 to 2,500 Thai Baht. Please let us know if we can help you with these arrangements

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.
WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
