WELCOME TO THE 2nd GERMAN "OKTOBERFEST" OPEN.
We are so exited to host the 2nd German "Oktoberfest" Open in 2022 after 3 years of Pandemic delay as you all know.
The tournament will be held in the fantastic Venue "Berger Feld" in Gelsenkirchen right next to the impressive soccer stadium and home of FC Schalke 04. We will have 15 courts in 2 different halls on the same floor with a nice tribune and a center court in the main hall.
Tournament Schedule and Events
We are running events from Wednesday 06th October throught to Sunday 09th October. Please see the schedule below for which events are running on which days.

All events will start as a round robin followed by single elimination knockout until the finals. All players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games per event they enter. The tournament director reserves the right to combine categories if there are insufficient number of entries.

Tournaments T&Cs
By signing the electronic signature on the registration form you agree to the following:
Cancellation and refund requesta must be made by 12:00pm (MESZ) on 06th September 2022.
Registration fees (45,-€) are non-refundable but event fees (15.-€) will be refunded up the date of registration closing.
Tournament director has the discretion to combine categories in the event of too few entries and also to move players between categories and their decision is final.
Agree to follow any Covid-19 related requirements.
Film and sound recordings/livestream as well as photos will be taken at the event, and you agree to their subsequent use by attending the event.

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.
WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
