This tournament will be held in Leeds, John Charles Centre for Sports-Tennis Centre, Middleton Grove, Belle Isle, Leeds LS11 5DJ, United Kingdom
This event will consist of these categories:
• 19yrs+
• 35yrs+
• 50yrs+
• 60yrs+

Thank you to Franklin Pickleball (and Pickleball people) for providing X-40 balls for the event.
• All events will be a round robin followed by single elimination knockout in the afternoon.
• All players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games per event they enter.
• The tournament director reserves the right to combine categories to best suit demand.
• A player may enter any category that their age permits … for example a 52 year old may enter either the 35+ OR 50+ but not the 60+ category.
• We may adjust the number of registrations for categories with the highest demand.
• While registering, if you do not yet have a partner, please select the 'partner wanted’ option and all efforts will be made to assign you a partner.
Venue and Transport Details
Recommend you use the main train station in Leeds as it is an 11 min cab ride (probably more like 15 due to traffic in and out of center of Leeds). Taxi from airport around 25min drive.
Hotel wise - Recommend staying in the center of Leeds if possible (especially if taking the train) and there are a lot of different options there (premier inn; Travelodge, Clayton Hotel, Holiday Inn Express etc), otherwise the nearest one would be Premier Inn Elland road.
Tournament Terms and Conditions
By signing the electronic signature on the registration form, you agree to the following:
• Cancellation and refund requests must be made by 11:59pm on January 12th 2024
• Registration fees (£25) are non-refundable but event fees (£20) will be refunded up until January 12th 2024.
• Tournament director has the discretion to combine categories in the event of too few entries and also to move players between categories.
• The tournament will adhere to the USAPA rules and guidelines regarding player etiquette and all players are expected to conduct themselves accordingly.
• Tournament Director’s decision will be final.
• Please note that players are only able to enter one category per event, i.e. a player cannot enter men's doubles 35+ AND men's doubles 50+

1. Your participation in an event is competitive and like all sports has a risk of physical injury and you fully accept responsibility for all such risks as a condition of participation.

You understand and accept that Game Set Match and John Charles Centre for Sports and the event organizers/owners do not accept any liability of any sort for bodily injury, illness or death sustained to or by you or loss or damage to any of your possessions or goods whatsoever and howsoever their loss or damage is caused.

Each participant also consents to the recording of his/her voice, image and likeness captured by any means including cameras/telephones/mobile devices while present in, at or about the event and the transmission of these images/voices in perpetuity by the organiser free of charge, by any means and waives all moral and legal rights in and to any recordings of sound made or images taken within the Tournament venue.

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.
WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
