WELCOME TO THE 4TH GERMAN "OKTOBERFEST" OPEN.
The tournament will be held in the fantastic Venue "Berger Feld" in Gelsenkirchen right next to the impressive soccer stadium and home of FC Schalke 04. We will have 14 courts in 2 different halls on the same floor with a nice tribune and a center court in the main hall.
Of course every registered player will get a goody bag with other items which wil be announced. Every registrered player who will register until October 05th will get a tournament Shirt for sure. We will produce some more Shirts as always but then it is no guaranteed that your size will be available.
The entry fee is 45,-€ + 15,-€ for each additional event. As the German Pickleball Federation is a member of the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF), the rules of the GPF Rulebook 2024 will be used.

We are running events from Wednesday 24th October throught to Sunday 27th October. Please see the schedule below for which events are running on which days.
Thursday 24th October – starting from 16:00h - Free training sessions - Clinics
Friday 25th October - Men's and Women's Singles
Saturday 26th October - Men's and Women's Doubles
Sunday 27th October - Mixed Doubles
All events will start as a round robin followed by single elimination knockout until the finals. All players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games per event they enter. The tournament director reserves the right to combine categories if there are insufficient number of entries.

Tournaments T&Cs By signing the electronic signature on the registration form you agree to the following: Cancellation and refund requesta must be made by 12:00pm (MESZ) on 11th October 2024. Registration fees (45,-€) are non-refundable but event fees (15.-€) will be refunded up the date of registration closing. Tournament director has the discretion to combine categories in the event of too few entries and also to move players between categories and their decision is final. Agree to follow any Covid-19 related requirements. Film and sound recordings/livestream as well as photos will be taken at the event, and you agree to their subsequent use by attending the event.

WILLKOMMEN ZUM 4. DEUTSCHEN „OKTOBERFEST“ OPEN.
Das Turnier findet im fantastischen Veranstaltungsort „Berger Feld“ in Gelsenkirchen statt, direkt neben dem beeindruckenden Fußballstadion und der Heimat des FC Schalke 04. Wir werden 14 Courts in 2 verschiedenen Hallen auf der gleichen Etage mit einer schönen Tribüne und einem Center Court in der Haupthalle haben.
Natürlich bekommt jeder angemeldete Spieler ein Goodie Bag mit weiteren Artikeln, die noch bekannt gegeben werden. Jeder registrierte Spieler, der sich bis zum 05. Oktober anmeldet, erhält natürlich ein Turniershirt. Wir werden wie immer einige Shirts nachproduzieren, aber es ist nicht garantiert, dass eure Größe dann noch verfügbar ist.
Das Startgeld beträgt 45,-€ + 15,-€ für jedes weitere Event. Da die German Pickleball Federation Mitglied der Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) ist, werden die Regeln des GPF Rulebook 2024 angewendet.

Alle Wettkämpfe beginnen mit einem Rundenturnier, gefolgt von einem K.O.-System bis zum Finale. Allen Spielern wird ein Minimum von 4 Spielen pro Veranstaltung garantiert. Die Turnierleitung behält sich das Recht vor, die Kategorien zusammenzulegen, wenn die Zahl der Anmeldungen nicht ausreicht.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4.
