Welcome to the 3rd Hungarian Pickleball Open
We are so excited to be able to host the 3nd edition of Hungarian Open in 2024 and we hope you are excited to come along, play and visit Hungary!
We are delighted to be hosting 3rd edition of Hungarian Open at the fantastic Dabas-Wellis Sportcentrum in Dabas (30 minutes from Budapest, we will try to organize transfer between Budapest and Dabas everyday if it is necessary), where we will have 8 indoor courts with hard surface.
Everyone inside or outside of Europe is welcome to participate!
Registration
- Registration fee (inc. 1 division) = 40 EURO
- Additional division fee = 20 EURO/Division
Registration + 1 event (40 €), Registration + 2 events (60 €), Registration + 3 events (80 €)

∙ All events will be a round robin followed by single elimination knockout.
∙ All players are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games per event they enter.
∙ The tournament director reserves the right to combine categories if there are an insufficient number of entries (less than 5).
∙ There are limited places available in each category and players are only able to enter one skill/age category per event,

Venue Location
Dabas-Wellis Sportcentrum, (2371 Dabas, Tabáni utca 1.)
Dabas-Wellis Sportcentrum is appr. 30 minutes far from Budapest (we will try to organise transfer between Budapest and Dabas everyday if it is necessary) There are 8 indoor pickleball courts with hard surface.
Accommodation
For this event we are negotiating with local hotels for a special price, but if you prefer staying in Budapest we will do our best to help you with the transfer between Budapest and Dabas.
Tournament T&Cs
By signing the electronic signature on the registration form, you agree to the following:
∙ Cancellation and refund requests must be made by 11:59pm (CET) on 30th June 2024.
∙ Registration fees (€40) are non-refundable but division fees (€20) will be refunded up to the date of registration closing.
∙ Tournament director has the discretion to combine categories in the event of too few entries and also to move players between categories, and his decision is final.
∙ Promise to follow Pickleball Hungary code of conduct and uphold Pickleball Hungary values.

Pickleball Hungary is a Not-for-profit organisation set up to promote and encourage the development of pickleball. We have run more than 20 successful tournaments with more than 150 players commenting on the efficiency of organization and the great atmosphere of our tournaments.

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.
WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
