For the 4th consecutive year Northern Europe's largest pickleball tournament is back! Last year we had 200+ registrations from 17 nationalities with Poland's Daria Walczak and England's Freddy Powell topping the medal scoreboard. The biggest news of the 3rd edition was the partnership with the APP.
This year APP is back along with the World Pickleball Championship Series - Europe. Our tournament will be one of four stops to compete for the chance to go the world finals in Shanghai. Apart from that we will offer prize money of at least 50 000 Swedish kronor in the PRO brackets and prizes worth at least 25 000 Swedish kronor for the other brackets. A brand new tennis and pickleball facility being built as we speak. The hardcourt surface will be top notch and hardly played upon when this tournament launches. The venue is in the town of Helsingborg, south of Sweden conveniently located close to Copenhagen airport in Denmark - a great hub for flights.
Group stage matches with best of 3 games to 11 (win by 2, max 15). Then single elimination with best of 3 games to 11 (win by 2, max 15).

All results from JOOLA Sweden Open 2024 will award WPC Europe ranking points. Read more at: https://worldpickleballchampionship.com/ Moreover all results from the PRO divisions will be uploaded to DUPR and affect players' ratings. This means all PRO players need to have a DUPR account linked to Pickleball Global before the tournament starts.
By electronically signing the registration form, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Cancellations and refund requests must be made by 1st of August 2024, 12:00 (CET). The registration fee will not be refunded, but additional fees for each category (25,-€) will be refunded until the day of the deadline. Cash prizes for the OPEN categories will be paid out in full only if the minimum amount of registered players is reached. In the case the minimum amount of registered players is not reached, the prize money may be reduced in those categories. A PayPal account will be required from players to have prize money transferred. It is the sole responsibility of each participant, and not the organizer, to comply with their local tax regulations and ensure that any taxes due on the prize money are paid in accordance with their national laws. The tournament director has the discretion to combine categories and move players between categories if there are too few registrations and their decision is final. The tournament director also has the discretion to change the format of a category, if needed, to hold the time plan. By registering to the tournament all players agree to authorise the publishing of images taken during the tournament. If any player does not agree with that, they must inform the organizer by email.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
