Pickleball Pays de Gex est fière de vous accueillir pour la toute première édition du Pickle & Cheese, le tournoi des amoureux du fromage ( et oui il y en aura ) et du pickleball. Cette année les inscriptions sont limitées à 50 personnes afin de garantir un minimum de 6 matchs de tournoi par personne et pour laisser le temps au partage autant sur les terrains qu'autour du fromage (il commence à être relou avec son fromage, on a compris …) Do you dream of an American-style Chicken & Pickle ? Pickleball Pays de Gex is proud to welcome you for the very first edition of the Pickle & Cheese, the tournament for cheese lovers (and yes there will be some) and pickleball. This year, registrations are limited to 50 people in order to guarantee a minimum of 6 tournament games per person and to allow time for sharing on the courts as well as around the cheese (he's starting to be a bit weird with his cheese, we get it ...)

Le tournoi sera divisée en deux parties : - Les phases de groupes (round robin) de 9h à 12:30 - Une double élimination de 13h30 à 17:30 Toutes les équipes commenceront dans une même catégorie (open) et les résultats de la matinée déterminent la suite du tournoi. Les groupes seront coupés en deux avec la moitié supérieure qui continuera l'aventure dans la catégorie avancée et la partie inférieure en catégorie intermédiaire. Les équipes sont placées dans le tableau en se basant sur les résultats des groupes. The tournament will be divided into two parts: - The group stages (round robin) from 9:00 to 12:30 - A double elimination from 13:30 to 17:30 All teams will start in the same category (open) and the results of the morning will determine the rest of the tournament. The groups will be split in two with the top half continuing in the advanced category and the bottom half in the intermediate category. Teams are placed into the draw based on the group results.

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
