Join us for the second annual Pickleball championships in Saitama, Japan. The tournament is expecting over 150 players from all over the world. Pickleball will someday be in the Olympics and this tournament takes place in the same year as the Tokyo 2020 Olympics!
Located in a suburb of Tokyo, the venue is easily accessible by train or car. The tennis centre hosting the tournament will have 15 pickleball courts in a beautiful setting.

From Narita International Airport:
Take the Keisei Line Skyliner to Nippori Station. Change to the Keihintohoku Line (light blue) to either Minami Urawa Station (closest to the venue) or Urawa Station (closest to most hotels).
From Haneda International Airport:
Take the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station. Change to the Tokaido Line to Urawa Station.
From Urawa Station, take a train to Minami Urawa Station or a taxi to Raym Tennis Center (レイムテニスセンター).

Luggage:
Taking luggage on the train can be a hassle. A luggage delivery service called Takkyubin is available at the airport and will deliver luggage anywhere in Japan within 24 hours for around ¥2,000 yen ($18 USD). If you would like to forward your luggage directly to your hotel (it will arrive the next day) look up the address beforehand and find a Takkyubin counter at the airport. Information desks at the airport can direct you to the nearest Takkyubin counter.

My physical and mental condition was either verified by a medical doctor or at least proved during my previous sport activities, such as, but not limited to, playing various sports such as tennis, racquetball, squash, pickleball or any other aerobic sport). Herewith I confirm that I am aware of my full responsibility for all and any risks connected to any potential injury or damage that can happen to me while competing at this event. I explicitly confirm, that by my electronic signature I will not pursue any claim, damages, present and future rights of action which may be related to my participation in this event. I am also explicitly and specifically releasing and discharging myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and organizers of this event. Furthermore, I am also releasing the facility, its members, employees, sponsors and anyone who would be ever associated or connected to this event.
WAIVER/RELEASE FOR COMMUNICABLE DISEASES INCLUDING COVID-19
ASSUMPTION OF RISK / WAIVER OF LIABILITY / INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this tournament, by completing my registration, I acknowledge, appreciate, and agree that:
1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to MRSA, influenza, and COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; and,
2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation as regards protection against infectious diseases. If, however, I observe any unusual or significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and,
4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SS Pickleball llc their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("RELEASEES"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
